How to set up SmartHide VPN (PPTP/L2TP) for Mac

1. Enter Members area to using SmartHide account login and password
2. In Members area find SmartHide VPN for iOS and Android section and remember required IP address.

3. Run Finder and go to the folder Applications and choose System Preference

5. If a lock on the left in the bottom corner is locked, click it to unblock changes. After click "+" (plus sign) situated a little bit higher of lock icon

6. You should see a window. In the field Interface choose VPN, and VPN Type fill with PPTP or L2TP. The field Service Name you can fill in as you wish, e.g. SmartHide VPN. Then click the button Create

7. Next, fill in the field Server Address by indicating server name or IP address from the step 2 above. Account Name - your SmartHide login name. In case of L2TP connection enter the "secret" into the secret field. Also we strongly recommend to check Show VPN status in menu bar

8. After click the button Authentication Settings and enter your SmartHide account password

9. Click Advanced... button and set "Send all traffic over VPN connection" checkbox
10. Click the button Connect and accept settings by clicking Apply

11. If the connection is successful, you should see the next window

12. All future connections can be done with the help of icon situated in your menu bar

I did every thing but it didn't work I tried 3 times
