How to set up SmartHide VPN for Android?

  1. Go to http://www.smarthide.com/members/ and enter your SmartHide login and password;
  2. Find the area "SmartHide VPN for iOS and Android" and save the desired domain name or IP address (in case if the domain smarthide.com is blocked by your ISP);
  3. Switch ON Your Android device and go to the "Settings" menu;
  4. Choose "Wireless & networks";
  5. Choose "VPN settings";
  6. Choose "Add VPN";
  7. Choose "Add PPTP VPN";
  8. Fill in the fields as described at the picture except for the field "Set VPN server", you should input domain name or IP address that you saved on step 2;
  9. Move back to the previous screen and choose newly created connection;
  10. Enter SmartHide account login data and try to connect.

IMPORTANT! The stable operation of PPTP connection is guaranteed for Android 2.2 and above.
